Max Wilbert Wins Journalism Award

Max Wilbert, a recent graduate from Western Washington University and a participant in the 2010 Polaris Project field course, has just won a national competition for his article “Siberian Summer” about his Polaris Project experience. The article, which appeared in Western Washington University’s Planet Magazine, was the National Finalist in the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence award in the non-fiction magazine article category.
